| Thesprotia is one of the four prefectures of
Epirus. Is located between the mountain range of Pindos and the coasts of
Epirus, in Ionian Sea. The region allocates beautiful coastal villages
with beautiful beaches and picturesque ports. The region is populated since the prehistoric period. It is rich in ancient tradition and it has many monuments and many picturesque settlements. Come and enjoy the unique hospitality that residents offer to the visitors. One of the most picturesque regions of Thesprotia is Karavostasi, near Perdika village. Is a big beautiful beach, with spotless waters, age-long platen and lovely nature. Karavostasi is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. In the beach slopped the river "Paramythiotis" and next to the beach, in the mountain, is found the archaeological site "Dimokastro" or "Ancient Elina". Karavostasi offers its natural beauty to the visitor. The place is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Apart from Karavostasi, the region offers all kinds of beaches.
